Kate Conner is a teacher of yoga, meditation and mindfulness and the proud owner of the newly established Essence Nature Yoga Studio in Southwest Michigan.
Kate has trained extensively with masters in various traditions, combining her love for travel with her passion for following yoga back to its roots. She has been able to facilitate incredible long term results in the lives of her students when utilizing the teachings of Baba Hari Dass, and has recently traveled to India to become further certified under one of his own students - the beloved Hanna Muse.
An international inspiration, Kate has taught across the globe, from the US to Mexico to India, and has led in-person classes of over 10,000 people on stages like the Electric Forest.
As a Yoga Alliance 200hr Registered Instructor, as well as a 200hr Yoga Teacher Trainer, Kate is widely regarded by her students as someone who provides grounding ancient wisdom in a way that makes it relevant to the realities of modern life. She is passionate about helping her students show up in life as the most healthy and powerful version of themselves.
Kate’s warm personality and genuine interest in changing lives for the better, make her a yoga teacher extraordinaire. She offers free mind/body evaluations, and customized class schedules to ensure that the work you put in is leading you to the results you want to get out. With her wide variety of offerings, from breathwork to restorative yoga to power classes, her studio truly is a place where EVERY Body can thrive.
She believes in helping people find the root of the problem to eliminate long term pain, not just to treat it. This is why she recently followed her heart closer to home, and opened Essence Nature Yoga Studio - a space for deep integration of both the spiritual and physical aspects of yoga and meditation to heal your body AND mind in an environment that meets you where you are at.
Kate now leads classes, workshops and retreats both internationally and at her home base of St. Joseph Michigan, where she embraces her calling as a catalyst to help others to find freedom from past pain and freedom from the worry of tomorrow. She joyfully takes responsibility for leading others safely into the practice of yoga, and believes that through the physical asanas, breathwork and meditation, experiencing freedom and joy in each present moment is accessible to anyone.
